Lewisland is a musical project created by Nigerian born – Italian/UK based Indie Soul artist, rapper, Songwriter, Multi-Instrumentalist and producer, Lewis Enwegbara in June 2014 in Pavia, Italy. Lewisland aims at producing well-crafted and melodic songs with lyrics that reflects on the everyday struggle, lost love and acts of bravery.
After starting off with a bang, Winning the Tiro Music summer 2014 Contest, Lewisland also won the award for Best Voice and People’s Choice Artist. Lewisland is also a finalist in various contests like The Open Stage (2015), San Jourio contest (2015). Totem Factor (2016), Incanto (2016), Apriamo Le Porte Alla Musica (2017), MEI Superstage (2018), App Song Contest (2019), Blue Notte (2019).
Lewisland has participated in important national gigs and festivals, to name a few, MEI, Balcony TV, Sofar, Poletna Festival and Blue Notte Blues Festival.
Lewisland made his national radio debut in 2018 with the single “Coachella” from the self-produced album “Fast Forward”. A video was also made for the single. 2019 saw the debut of Lewisland’s third album “Afroshock” which was received well by blogs such as “Rockit” and “Last Day Deaf”. A music video for the album’s single “Drunk On U” was released in March. "Back In Town", Lewisland's 4th album debuted on Rockit Oct 2019, and marked his first album recorded in the UK. The music video for the single "Summer 1996" featuring Nicole Volpato was released in November.
Since then, Lewisland has released a string of singles like "Open Your Heart" and "Mo Juice" featuring Italian artist "JMT".
The new Lewisland album "I Wish I Was On Fire" was released on the 5th of December 2020 on all digital stores.
